Clyde Kerr's Funeral (17 images)

Clyde Kerr Jr., died on Aug. 6 2010, he was 67. Kerr was a long time educator, who taught jazz to scores of aspiring musicians for 43 years. Kerr, a native New Orleanian was the son of a bandleader who followed in his fathers footsteps and began playing trumpet as a boy.


Mr. Kerr released his only CD, "This Is Now," a compilation of his compositions, last year.
